Physical Product Design

Also known as Industrial Design. It focuses on creating manufactured physical products for the consumer market. It requires skills/knowledge like art, form, ergonomics, mechanical engineering, business, market trends, manufacturing methods, materials, and more. Here are a few of the products I have created.

User Experience Design

Production problem-solving/ Design for manufacturing

Examples of “making the designs manufacturable”. They were NOT designed by me originally, my role here was to come up with the solutions (for issues that arose during pre-production evaluation and manufacturing), so the original designs could be reserved as much as possible without compromising the quality and function.

During my time in China, overseeing the factories and being a liaison between all the stakeholders, I standardized the product development process and checklist. With the help of our team of engineers and designers, we managed to put 600+ items on the market across 10+ brands every year.
