Issue 

On the original drawing, the geometry required unnecessarily large tooling. The drawing asked to use a steel rod as the internal connection for the nylon head and the nylon handle. The tooling sample showed a gap and a weak point between the connection.

Solution

The geometry was modified in order to minimize the tooling size and amount of material used, which reduced the manufacturing cost and still maintained the product strength. Removed the internal steel rod to achieve a more accurate and efficient manufacturing process, which also lowered the cost.
